About Us Sue and Stuart Banger along with their son Damian and staff would like to offer you a very warm welcome to the Bold Forester. At the Bold Forester we pride ourselves in serving an excellent and varied menu of superb home cooked food, including fresh fish dishes and succulent steaks plus our chef's selection from the special board. To compliment your food we have a selection of real ales, chilled lagers and a varied wine list. We welcome small and larger parties for Weddings, Anniversaries, Business lunches and all special occasions, in our restaurant. In the summer months, enjoy eating or drinking al-fresco in our large Mediterranean style beer garden with patio and barbecue area, while the kiddies play on the children's adventure playground. We are open seven days a week and serve food lunchtimes from 12 noon - 2.30p.m. and from 6.30p.m. - 9.30p.m in the evening (Sunday evening 7.00p.m. - 9.00p.m.). We are sure you will enjoy your visit and in doing so, return again to relax in this traditional and friendly atmosphere. The Bold Forester in Bloom We are very proud at The Bold Forester to have been awarded Gold and Overall Winner for the past eight years for Fareham in Bloom. In addition to this we have also been awarded the Certificate of Excellence for South and South East in Bloom.
